Clark Potter has work in the Fire Protection Industry for 34 years starting in Alaska for Sentry Sprinkler Co. until 1978. He continued working in Alaska with Grinnell Fire Protection and Automatic Fire Protection. Completed a 5 year apprenticeship program through Local Union 669. Worked in and around the oil, lumber, fishing, tourism, and military in Alaska with all types of fire protection including Halon, FM-200, Low and High Density Foam, CO2, Nitrogen charged systems, and Fire Pump association protection. Experienced in the installation and maintenance of Fire Alarm panels, card access and security systems.

Mary Potter owns and operates Northwest Fire Systems. She's responsible for the bidding of small to medium sized projects and tenant improvements. Mary oversees the establishment of a large service base linked to code driven requirements such as annual confidence testing on all forms of fire protection for life and building safety. Potter has helped establish one of the first corrosion management companies in the Pacific Northwest which is already leading the way in code required corrosion management services.
Service Sales/Project Manager

Reid began his career in fire protection as an apprentice for Sentry Automatic Sprinkler Company in Spokane, WA in 1971 and completed his apprenticeship through the Road Local 669. Since then he has worked all over the states of Washington and Alaska as a service tech, project manager, estimator and business owner. He has seen all facets of our industry over the years and brings some great "old school" experience to our team. He currently prepares bid estimates totaling around $1 million per month on average for Northwest Fire Systems and manages and consults most jobs personally.
Senior Inspector
26 years in the Fire Protection Industry
Currently, John is our senior inspector and plays a pivotal role in balancing the relationship between Northwest Fire and our customers. He is responsible for the maintenance of roughly two million square feet of Fire Sprinkler -protected property and peripheral equipment. He tests and maintains all water-based fire sprinkler systems and constantly stays ahead of the curve with regard to education. Mr. Holt's specialties also include: fire pumps, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants and special hazard foam systems.
Designer
35 years in the Fire Protection Industry
Gary is our resident designer on staff here at Northwest Fire. His responsibilities include, survey, design, layout, and material listing for all new construction projects. He has 35 years experience in the fire sprinkler industry and holds a NICET Level III designation with a State of Washington Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Systems design and layout.
Service and Sales
2 years in the Fire Protection Industry
At Northwest Fire Systems it is my responsibility to perpetuate a solid client base in all facets of the company: Contract Construction, Service and Planned Maintenance. I work closely with many of the area\'s premier general contractors to ensure the timely and thorough design and installation of Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems. With regards to service, it is my duty to ensure every customer, new or existing, receives a prompt response, thorough assessment of the issue, expert repair and maintenance of the system(s) in question and a timely follow-up with a full report of system functionality.
